What this is

A real training plan, half the time commitment.

Showtime is June’s evolution phase at Atlas Basketball Academy — fast-break basketball inspired by the pass-first 80s Lake Show, running 8 sessions every Monday and Wednesday at 5:30 pm. But not every family can commit two weeknights. The 4-session pack lets your athlete attend one day per week for the full phase and still get coached through the same curriculum, the same labs, and the same standard.

Every session follows the same arc: warm-up → block training → constraint-led drills → competition → conclusion. Coach Adrian runs the Rookie Lab (ages 7–9). Coach Jaire runs the Rotation Lab (ages 10–14). Placement is by skill, not age — your athlete works at the level they’re ready for. The whole phase is designed by Dr. Julian Penaranda, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, so athletes build skill and protect growing bodies.

Is this right for your athlete?

Who the 4-pack is built for.

Ideal for

  • Families with only one weeknight free for sports
  • Athletes balancing another sport or activity on the alternate day
  • Parents who want to commit before going all-in on monthly
  • Kids who travel mid-phase and need a partial-month option
  • Siblings who split nights between activities

Consider full phase if

  • Your athlete wants maximum reps + skill development
  • They’re chasing the Showtime MVP or The Dime award
  • You want them doing the daily homework drills (full-phase only)
  • They thrive on routine and consistency two days a week

Frequently asked

Questions parents ask.

Can my athlete switch days mid-phase?
Within the same week, yes — if you registered for Monday but need to swap to Wednesday for one specific week, just text us 24 hours ahead and we’ll move you. But we ask families to pick a primary day so coaches can plan curriculum continuity. Switching every week makes lab placement messy.
What if we miss a session?
We offer one make-up session per phase as long as space allows. If you miss your Monday, you can attend the next Wednesday in the same phase, with advance notice. Miss more than one and we’ll discuss options — typically we recommend pausing and rejoining the next phase rather than letting a partial registration trickle out.
Do we still get the homework drills?
Partial access. 4-pack athletes can view the daily homework drill page each day if they want extra reps, but homework is graded only for full-phase athletes. The Showtime MVP, Triple Double, and The Dime awards are reserved for full-phase as well, since they’re calculated against full-month attendance + homework grades. The Completion Certificate is available to 4-pack athletes who attend all 4 sessions.
Can I upgrade to the full phase mid-month?
Yes — and we’ll credit your $70 toward the $129 full-phase price (you pay the $59 difference). DM us or reply to your welcome email and we’ll set it up. The upgrade unlocks the second weekly session, full homework grading, and all award eligibilities.
My child has never played basketball — is this okay?
Yes. The Rookie Lab (ages 7–9) is built specifically for beginners. Coach Adrian breaks every drill down to age-appropriate distances and progressions. A fast break for a 7-year-old means 2-on-1 from the free-throw line — not full-court 3-on-2. Your athlete will be challenged, not overwhelmed.
What should we bring to the first session?
Athletic shoes (court shoes preferred but any clean sneakers work), a water bottle, comfortable athletic clothing, and a basketball if you have one — we provide balls if not. Arrive 10 minutes before tipoff so coaches can do a quick assessment and place your athlete in the right lab.
Do siblings get a discount?
Yes. Second sibling gets 15% off any tier. DM us before purchase or apply the code SIB15 at checkout if you have one. If you registered both at full price, we’ll refund the difference — just send us a note.
What’s the refund policy?
Full refund if requested 48+ hours before the first session of your phase. After that, we offer credit toward a future phase (no refunds for sessions you missed). If your athlete attends one session and decides it’s not the right fit, we’ll refund the unused balance — the first session is always risk-free.
The standard isn’t a season.

It’s a habit.

4 sessions. One day a week. The Showtime system that builds athletes who show up.
