yes — bring whatever you want. food, drinks and cake live in the setup area on a tarp or table cover, and water is the only thing that goes on the hardwood. no alcohol.

yes — . you are never handed a key and left to figure it out.

the refundable deposit () holds your date and covers damage. it is returned within 3 business days after the party, less any documented damage or extra cleanup. the court rental is invoiced separately — . keeping them apart is what makes the deposit refundable. .

no. they are two different fees. the court rental is the price of your party: for a 3-hour reservation, for 4 hours, for 5. the deposit is charged on top of that when you book, it does not go toward the court rental, and it comes back after the party. so a 3-hour party is plus a deposit you get back.

the court rental is due 72 hours before your start time and can’t be paid at the door. if it is unpaid at the due date, we may cancel the party and release the date, and the deposit is kept. the deposit is also kept if you cancel inside 72 hours or don’t show. the full rule is in section 07a of the cancellation policy.

we book birthday parties for kids age and up. younger than that and the basketball part doesn’t hold them — they play for ten minutes and then it’s just a room. ages is the sweet spot: old enough to run real games, young enough that a gym to themselves is the best day of the month. older teens and adults are welcome too.

party season is for exactly that reason. we’d rather turn down the booking than sell you a hot gym.

every guest needs a completed online waiver — it takes about a minute on a phone. the waiver is in your email confirmation, or at atlashoops702.com/athlete-waiver. send it to your guest list before the party. when they arrive, each guest scans our check-in QR code on their own phone and enters the phone number linked to their waiver to check in.

yes. coach-led drills , an extra hour , videography . book the date first, then text us to add them.

basketball only, unless you clear it with us in writing before your date. ATLAS Hoops carries liability insurance for basketball use of the floor, and that coverage does not extend to any other sport. if you want to run any other sport on the floor (volleyball, pickleball, futsal, dodgeball, cheer, martial arts, anything), you carry sports liability insurance written for that specific sport, you name ATLAS Hoops LLC as an additional insured, and you send us the insurer’s endorsement page — a certificate on its own is not enough. text us early: insurance takes days to arrange, not minutes. and if a group runs another sport without clearing it, we stop it and the booking is over — no refund.

to be clear about what this does not restrict: every basketball game you can think of is fine. pickup, knockout, three-point contests, dribble tag, musical chairs with a ball, a coach running drills — all of it, no paperwork, that is what the floor is for.

yes to both, and neither costs extra on an event booking. the TV scoreboard just needs a staff member to switch it on — ask whoever is on the floor with you and they’ll get it going. the basketball racks are self-setup: roll them where you want them and put them back at the end. (on a full-court rental the scoreboard is a paid add-on with a scorekeeper — on your party it is free and nobody has to book it.) the door is ours either way: we run the QR check-in and track the waivers so you never have to stand at the entrance.
