community
guidelines.
these guidelines keep atlas hoops a safe, respectful, and high-quality space for every athlete, family, and guest. they summarize our policies in plain language and work alongside the agreements you sign at check-in. if anything here conflicts with a document you have signed, the signed document controls.
the essentials
a quick reference. full terms for each topic are in the sections below.
by submitting payment, entering the facility, or participating in any activity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these community guidelines and to the agreements you sign at check-in.
waiver & qr code check-in
every participant must complete the atlas hoops qr code check-in and the general liability waiver before stepping onto the court or taking part in any activity.
no waiver, no play. no exceptions.
- the waiver is built into our qr code check-in system at the entrance.
- check-in and the waiver must be completed before participation begins.
- the signed waiver is the controlling legal agreement between you and atlas hoops. these guidelines describe how we operate.
teams, organizations & media crews
if check-in is skipped or incomplete
completing check-in does not transfer responsibility for your own conduct to atlas hoops. anyone who participates without completing the qr code check-in and waiver — or who provides false information, ignores staff instructions, or enters without authorization — does so on their own and accepts full personal responsibility for any resulting injury, expense, or consequence.
no refunds are issued for failure to complete check-in or waiver requirements.
minors & 17-year-olds
a parent or legal guardian must complete the waiver for any participant under 18. a minor may not participate until that waiver is on file.
17-year-olds in open runs
atlas hoops reserves the right to withhold a 17-year-old's participation until a completed waiver from their legal parent or guardian is verified on file.
guardian responsibilities (athletes under 14)
for training athletes under 14, parents and guardians are responsible for timely drop-off and pick-up, communicating any medical conditions or concerns in advance, and sending the athlete with proper shoes, gear, and hydration.
code of conduct
atlas hoops is a respect-first facility with zero tolerance for disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behavior. these standards apply to everyone in the building — players, parents, guardians, guests, and spectators alike.
everyone is expected to
- treat timekeepers, scorekeepers, coaches, staff, and other athletes with respect;
- clean up after themselves;
- follow staff instructions and facility procedures;
- keep sideline and spectator behavior positive and supportive.
not tolerated
consequences — warnings, removal, suspension, or facility bans — are applied at staff discretion based on severity and circumstances. atlas hoops reserves the right to remove any individual at its discretion to maintain a safe environment. removal for conduct reasons is not eligible for a refund.
prohibited items
for the safety of everyone in the building — including minors — the following are strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises.
violations result in immediate removal without refund, and may be reported to authorities where required.

in a medical emergency, staff will
- call 911 immediately for any serious or uncertain situation;
- provide basic first aid only, within the limits of staff training, using our on-site first-aid supplies;
- for a minor, attempt to reach the parent or guardian listed at check-in — though calling 911 always takes priority;
