PURPOSE OVER reps.

Anyone can work out. We train players to think, adapt, and perform — every session built on progression, game-real skill, and a movement-first approach run by a doctor of physical therapy. ABA, private, and small group: different environments, same philosophy.

why train here

three reasons.
to pick atlas.

DPT-led

Before session 1, every new client gets a movement-quality screen — something only a DPT can do right. Injury history, mobility, load tolerance all feed the plan. Clinical-level care applied to basketball development.

Private facility

No public-gym chaos. Reservation-only — your session starts the second you walk in. No waiting for a hoop, no strangers in your drill. The court is yours alone.

Development, not reps

Skill work is paired with basketball IQ and movement quality. You leave each session better — not just tired. That's the difference between training and working out, and players see it on the court within weeks.

Dr. Julian screened my son's movement before we ever touched a ball — found a hip issue we didn't know about. Fixed it over two months. His lateral quickness has completely changed.

Came in as a guard working on finishing. After 6 sessions with Julian I'm getting to my spots in ways I couldn't before — nobody sees it coming now. The private facility was all reps, no distractions.

My daughter went from JV to varsity. Small group with Coach Adrian every week for a season — the jump in her handle and decision-making is night and day. The $25 per session is the best money we spend.

My son came in barely understanding pick-and-roll coverage. Three months in the academy and he's running his team's offense. It's the IQ piece that's different — not just drills. You see it every game now.

Flew into Vegas for a tournament and booked Jaire the night before our first game. My player scored 18 the next morning. Every minute counted — no waiting, no distractions. We rebook every time we're in town.

Did a 5-session package with Dr. Julian. The movement screen in session 1 changed everything — I'd trained around a shoulder issue for two years without knowing it. By session 5 I moved better than I had in high school.

questions

parents + players ask.
we answer.

How do I know which coach to pick? +
Each coach has a different specialty. Dr. Julian = movement and injury-aware (best after physical therapy or for chronic issues). Adrian = footwork, shot mechanics, repeatable skill (best for younger athletes building a clean foundation). Jaire = game reads, pace, and the competitive next-level jump (best for high-school / college-track players). Text us your goal — we'll match.
Can I switch coaches mid-package? +
Yes. Packages are not coach-locked. Use 8 sessions with Adrian and 12 with Jaire — your call. Most athletes find one match and stick.
What if my athlete is too young or too advanced for ABA? +
ABA accepts ages 7–14. For under 7 → start with private with Adrian (parent on the bench). For 14+ → small group Advanced or private with Jaire. We don't push a fit that isn't there.
What happens at the first session? +
With Dr. Julian, session 1 starts with a movement-quality screen — we assess mobility, stability, and injury history before touching a ball, and that shapes your program. With Adrian and Jaire, session 1 begins with a skill evaluation and goal-setting. Every first session is purposeful, not generic.
Do you train adults, or just youth? +
Both. We train players at every level — youth through competitive adults. Private and small group are open to all ages, and the DPT background is especially valuable for adult players managing load, recovery, or injury history. Text us and we'll build the right program.
What makes Atlas different from a public gym? +
Atlas is private and reservation-only — your session starts the second you walk in. No waiting, no strangers in your drill, no distractions. The whole court is yours, and our head trainer holds a DPT, so programming accounts for your body, not a standard drill sheet.
Are training packages refundable? +
Unused sessions are refundable within 30 days of purchase, minus a $25 admin fee. After 30 days, unused sessions are credit-only (good for 12 months). Used sessions are non-refundable.
Do I need to bring anything? +
Court shoes, water bottle, and a basketball if you have a preferred one. We provide regulation game balls, towels, and bench water. Wear shorts you can move in.
Can parents stay and watch? +
Yes, always. We have a parent area with full court sightlines. We don't run closed sessions — accountability cuts both ways.
Is private training tax-deductible? +
Generally no — recreational training isn't deductible. If you're a working pro athlete using it for income-generating work, talk to your accountant. We can issue itemized invoices on request.
