atlas basketball academy (aba) is a structured, year–round development system designed to help athletes grow through progressive training phases.

yes. atlas basketball academy operates on a recurring monthly membership structure. athletes train consistently through evolving development phases.

no. atlas basketball academy (aba) is independently operated by atlas hoops and is not affiliated with the nba or any professional league.
is aba a school or childcare program?
no. aba is a private basketball training academy. it is not a school, daycare, or licensed childcare provider. supervision is limited strictly to scheduled session times.
how does academy membership work?
membership requires a minimum of 30 days written notice submitted via email to the official atlas hoops contact address. verbal, text, or social media messages do not constitute valid cancellation.
membership remains active and billable during the 30-day notice period.
are refunds available?
no refunds are issued for missed sessions, partial attendance, travel, scheduling conflicts, or voluntary withdrawal. documented medical withdrawals may qualify for review at atlas hoops’ discretion.
all refund determinations are final.
what happens if my child misses a session?
missed sessions are not eligible for refunds. make-up sessions may be offered solely at the discretion of atlas hoops and are not guaranteed.
how are athletes placed into rookie, rotation, or starter lab?
placement is determined solely by atlas staff based on age, skill level, experience, safety considerations, and developmental readiness. athletes may be reassigned at any time for program integrity.
can my child move up to a different lab?
yes. lab progression is determined by staff evaluation.
advancement is not automatic and is based on readiness and academy standards.
are results guaranteed?
no athletic outcomes are guaranteed. membership provides structured training access but does not guarantee roster placement, scholarships, recruitment, or playing time.
is aba an aau team?
no. aba is a development academy focused on skill, iq, conditioning, and performance habits.
it is not an aau organization.
what behavioral standards are expected?
athletes must demonstrate respect, effort, discipline, and compliance with coaching instruction. disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal without refund.
parents must use formal communication channels and may not coach from sidelines during sessions.
what happens if payment fails?
failed payments may result in immediate suspension of participation. unresolved balances may lead to removal and collection procedures as permitted by law.
can i dispute a charge with my bank?
members agree to attempt written resolution with atlas hoops prior to initiating any chargeback or financial dispute. unauthorized chargebacks may result in removal and recovery of associated costs.
does aba record sessions?
yes. aba may record sessions for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes. enrollment grants consent for use of image, likeness, and voice unless written opt-out is submitted prior to participation.
can i use aba branding for my team or business?
no. aba logos, curriculum, systems, and intellectual property may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written authorization.
is participation voluntary?
yes. participation in aba is voluntary and includes acknowledgment of inherent risks associated with basketball activity, as outlined in the signed waiver.
where are disputes handled?
all policies are governed by the laws of the state of nevada. disputes are subject to binding arbitration in clark county, nevada, as outlined in academy policy.
