COMMUNITY GUIDELINES: OPEN RUNS
DAMAGE
Equipment Damage:
Any damage to equipment will be charged at the full market value of the item.
Wall Damage:
- Damage less than 1 ft x 1 ft in size: $100
- Damage greater than 1 ft x 1 ft in size: $200
TEMPERATURE
During warmer months in Las Vegas, facility temperatures typically range between 79°F and 82°F. Evaporative coolers are operational to maintain comfort, but conditions may still feel warm.
- A water station is located in the lobby, and water and Gatorade are available for purchase.
- It is strongly recommended to stay hydrated before, during, and after your basketball session.

ELABORATIONS
Game Rules:
- Game Length: 8 minutes or the first team to 12 points.
- Points: 1- or 2-point shots (2 points awarded for shots beyond the FIBA line).
- Clock Management:
- If the score difference is within 3 points, the clock will stop only for fouls or jump ball violations during the last minute of play.
- The clock will not stop for arguments.
- The clock will stop for injuries.
Overtime:
- First Overtime: 2 minutes.
- Second Overtime: 1 minute.
- Third Overtime: Sudden death (first team to score wins).
- Teams winning three consecutive games must sit out immediately after their third win.
- Foul Guidelines:
- Fouls must be explicitly called as “FOUL” for recognition. No “And-1” calls are allowed.
- Fouls during shooting: If the shot is made, the point counts, and possession changes to the opposing team.
- Offensive fouls, over-the-back calls, and carry violations will only be enforced in the final minute of play.
BEHAVIOR GUIDELINES
- Clean up after yourself.
- Respect the timekeeper/scorekeeper. Verbal or physical assault against them will result in immediate removal and a ban from ATLAS.
- Arguing for more than 30 seconds: Both teams will be removed from the court.
Spitting:
- Spitting on the floor or walls will result in immediate removal from the facility.
Gang Signs:
- Absolutely no gang signs are permitted.
Fights:
- Physical or verbal altercations will result in suspensions ranging from one month to one year.
- Any fight will result in the cancellation of all open runs for the day.
